Sculpture Network 2020 has been launched by Yorkshire Sculpture International to support artists and the development of their practice.
Over a duration of four months, 22 Yorkshire-based artists working in sculpture will attend fortnightly meet-ups online that will be facilitated by an invited lead artist, curator, writer or researcher. There will be a focus on caring for artists throughout the uncertain and immediate future, taking a holistic approach to how we can support artists in their practice as well as their wellbeing.
The network will be convened by the Yorkshire Sculpture International team with curators from the Yorkshire Sculpture International partner galleries – the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, The Hepworth Wakefield and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
