Articulating Practice

Open to any artists based in Yorkshire working in sculpture, please join us and arts writer and editor Lara Eggleton for a free online workshop supporting artists to think, speak and write effectively about their practice. We will use language-based exercises and work in groups to develop a short artistic statement, test its effectiveness, and discuss ways to adapt it to different contexts.

We are running this workshop on three dates (Monday 19 October, Thursday 22 October and Monday 26 October) and have limited capacity for each workshop. Each session is identical so please only book one date to ensure other artists can attend. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Lara Eggleton is a writer, historian, editor and arts consultant. She is Managing Editor at Corridor8, a contributing writer for a range of art journals and writing platforms and holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Leeds.
