Kimsooja: Artist Talk

Internationally renowned South Korean artist Kimsooja discussed her ideas and practice, revealing the background to her enthralling new YSP Chapel installation, To Breathe.

Considering themes including migration and globalisation, Kimsooja’s conceptual artwork always relates to the human condition and often takes inspiration from traditional forms of female labour and craft, such as sewing and weaving, investigating how art and everyday life are entwined.
