Poor Image Projects presents: Karanjit Panesar

Poor Image Projects presented a performative lecture and screening by artist Karanjit Panesar at the Henry Moore Institute. An experiment in the layering, addition and subtraction of video through chroma key production techniques, the work uses live camera feeds, bodies, objects, and paint, to make a frame in which things are porous.

Karanjit Panesar (b. 1992) lives and works in Leeds.

Panesar is co-founder and director of east bristol contemporary, an artist-run initiative that counteracts the lack of showing spaces for emerging artists in Bristol and seeks to establish a unique and diverse programme of exhibitions and events.

Poor Image Projects (PIP) is a nomadic event series showcasing experimental moving image and audiovisual art. Hosting screenings, performances and installations, PIP unfolds in various spaces in Leeds and beyond.
