Poor Image Projects presented a performative lecture and screening by artist Karanjit Panesar at the Henry Moore Institute. An experiment in the layering, addition and subtraction of video through chroma key production techniques, the work uses live camera feeds, bodies, objects, and paint, to make a frame in which things are porous.
Karanjit Panesar (b. 1992) lives and works in Leeds.
Recent presentations of work include Strange Loop [solo], Turf Projects, Croydon (2019); The desire to be part of a story… [with serf], Index / YSI, Leeds (2019); THE WAY THINGS ARE [solo], arebyte Gallery, London (2018); Gloopiness is slippery but not like an ocean [solo], Arnolfini, Bristol (2017); eeeeeeeee, with lewdjaw, CBS Gallery, Liverpool (2017); Allen Road Sculpture Park, Artlicks Weekend, London (2017); East Midlands Today, 2 Queens, Leicester (2017); NAWKI, with 12o Collective, nationwide (2017).

Poor Image Projects (PIP) is a nomadic event series showcasing experimental moving image and audiovisual art. Hosting screenings, performances and installations, PIP unfolds in various spaces in Leeds and beyond.
