In November 2018, Anne Hardy spoke at Leeds Art Gallery about her recent work Falling and Walking (phhhhhhhhhhh phossshhhhh crrhhhhzzz mn huaooogh) shown at Leeds Art Gallery earlier in 2018 and at ArtNight, London in 2017.
Her immersive environments contain audio, sculptural structures, objects, colour, light. Viewers of her work are placed in sensory landscapes that fluctuate and change, creating sensations that veer between psychic space and the physical world.
Her work has been included in many exhibitions in the UK and internationally such as: Sensory Spaces, Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum, Rotterdam (2018), Area of Overlap, Maureen Paley, London (2018), TWIN FIELDS, The Common Guild, Glasgow (2015), FIELD, Modern Art Oxford (2015).
This series of talks has been programmed in partnership with Leeds Beckett University, Leeds Art Gallery and Yorkshire Sculpture International
