In November 2018, Holly Hendry spoke in Leeds Art Gallery about her recent large scale public sculpture commission for Liverpool Biennial 2018 and her time as a Rome Fellow in Contemporary Art at the British School in Rome. Her sculptures explore scale, surface, colour and density using a diverse range of materials and processes, including plaster, jesmonite, marble, aluminium, pigment, grit, ash and soap.
