Nicole Murmann (They/Them, She/Her) is an artist based in Leeds. Murmann studied Visual Art in Switzerland and Performance Art in Leeds. Their practice uses several media including performance, drawings, videos, soundtracks, and writing. They work as an artist individually and collaboratively on projects or in collectives (Spiegelei collective, Lausanne, CH, Renarde.x., Berlin, GE/Leeds and Queerology collective, Leeds). Their practice deals with identity and language, through the impact of various writings and through their everyday. Their domains of research are: inclusive-feminism, queer politics, the limits of the body, collecting opinions, stories, and sharing conversations. Experiencing vulnerability and exposing themselves is also a part of their practice.
