Wakefield-born, disabled artist Jason Wilsher-Mills unveils his first permanent, public commission, A Totem for Hull. Jason worked over several months with disabled people from a range of groups and organisations in Hull, which has informed his final design of a sculpture exploring the representation of disability in the city.
The sculpture will utilise augmented reality apps which will unlock animations, text, music & audio.
A Totem for Hull is produced with Artlink Hull and Hot Knife Digital Media and funded by Arts Council England, Hull City Council Arts and the University of Hull.
